Anton Sdobnov received a M.Sc. degree (diploma with honours) in physics from Saratov State University, Russia, in 2013. After that, he took position of engineer at Chair of Optics and Biophotonics, Physics Department at the same university until 2015. Also, he took position of the lab manager until 2016. During his work in Russia, Anton gained experience in optical clearing of biological tissues. Also, he visited University Hospital Charite, Berlin,Germany for internship studies in 2014 and 2015, where his main research aims were focused on Raman spectroscopy and Two-photon microscopy of skin. In 2016, Anton started PhD studies at Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, University of Oulu, Finland. His research work is focused on the theoretical and experimental investigation of Laser Speckle Contrast Imaging of biological tissues under non-ergodic conditions. During his studies in Finland, Anton won CIMO Fellowship grant (2016), UDUFI Fellowship grant(2017) and Finnish Cultural Foundation Grant (2018). Also, he visited Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel in 2018 and 2019 in terms of COST action CA16118 program where he gained experience in combined Fluorescent Intravital microscopy and Laser Speckle Contrast Imaging for transcranial visualization of the brain vasculature. Anton has contributed to 23 publications in journals and conference proceedings.
