Diana received a Bachelor degree with first-class honours in physics from Kazan Federal University, Russia, in 2018. There, she gained experience in Mössbauer spectroscopy and received four advanced academic scholarships for scientific achievements. As a part of her Master degree program, she joined the Laboratory of Nanomaterials in The Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Moscow, Russia. In 2019 she had research internships in TirPhotonics LLC, Moscow, Russia and Aston Institute of Photonic Technologies, Aston University, Birmingham, UK, where she conducted her research and development of ultrashort pulsed fiber lasers and fiber amplifiers. She has contributed to 9 conference and journal publications and a grant of the Russian Science Foundation. In 2020, she received her Master’s Degree with the thesis “The stability of single-walled carbon nanotubes saturable absorber for a fiber laser” in The Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology. Diana will work in the Aston team developing the laser for 2-photon activation and deactivation of phytochromes.
