Sergei Sokolovoski, Aston University investigator on the NEUROPA project recently presented at the Aston Institute of Photonic Technologies (AIPT) International Day of Light (16-21 May 2021) https://idl.astonphotonics.uk/ . Sergei's presentation entitled "Consuming Light" illustrated the role that technology such as NEUROPA's non-invasive brain therapy solution can have in helping to tackle the enormous economic burden of mental illness and brain disorders in the World. A recent WHO Review suggested that the economic burden, at $798bn exceeded that of all cancers. NEUROPA has the potential alleviate brain disorders, such as Huntingdon's disease through non-invasive long-term modulation of specific brain circuits
